Friday=Freebie

Well, not every friday does, but this one do!!!

First though, I’d like to remind you that we have a DT-call going on over at Stämpelkällan!!! Come on, we want to have more DT’s from all over the world and time is running out! Take a look at what we’d like from you over here.

And to think I almost missed this issue… Ready, Set, create - the online magazine has an article about moi!!! ;) And this issue is on sale now for only 2$ too. There’s a lot of reading and looking at for only 2$…

Alright, now on to what you all came here for… The freebie. It’s a small one today, but oh, so very useful! Use it as a background stamp, or as a stool for your fairys to sit on… Or as is of course.

As usual it’s available for two weeks only, and after that it will eventually find it’s way into the digi shop where it will be on sale.

CAS

Hah, I actually had the time to make something yesterday. I actually made TWO things even! One of the things I made was this clean and simple card using my own digistamp Ribbon. I added a sentiment on it before printing and then coloured it with my Copics. The colour I chose was blue and I used B93, B95, B97 and B39. I shaded using C-3, C-1 and the blender to smooth it out.

I also used my beloved Spica-pen to add some glitter on the ribbon. The background is just an ordinary white cardstock that I ran through the bug with an embossing folder.

Jeez, it’s hard to photograph glitter well… :)

I want to enter this into ABC Challenge’s H is for Happy Birthday-”Gratulerar på födelsedagen” means just that in swedish.

Creative Inspiration’s got Anything goes.

CASE study’s challenge #75 will actually also fit my CAS card today… :)

I hope that you like my card, it’s really different from what I do usually… But I like it! :) Ooops, I just saw that my waterstamp still says 2011… Got to fix that!

January almost over…

Today is my baby Theo´s second birthday, and he thought it’d be a great idea to get a high fever running! Second day now with a fever that has not dropped below 38.2°C and the high point was last night when he had 40.2°C… Poor baby… ♥

Anyway, that’s not why you are here, is it??? I suddenly remembered that I have a lot of images that I wanted to release today! How about these…?

 

 I’ve finally had the time to convert the shop too. There are still a couple of the old images missing, but I will add these eventually, but most importantly; All of the new images are up and available for purchase!!! :D

Friday Freebie

A SK Birthday card

Hi there!

Long time no see… I’m back at my mother’s place on the other side of Sweden for a while. As I didn’t bring ANY crafting stuff I feel a bit nervy by now…! I miss my stuff… I did bring some digi files though, so I will still give you a new freebie friday!

I do have a card to show you that I made before I left. I used Trolle (S41) from Stämpelkällan. Stämpelkällan is having a Design Team call by the way! Hop on over to their blog to check it out!

I wanted it to have a bit of a shabby look, so I distressed some of the edges and used a white ink pad (I didn’t have the patience to use acrylic paint as I would have liked to…) on the flowers and edges.

I used a lot of old and almost never used flowers. I bought the flat flowers from Panduro I think over two years ago (they had a 30% discount on EVERYTHING!!! That was a good one… :) ) and the sprays are from Mixen.

Digi LO’s

Hello, and a happy new year to you all!

I started off the new year by doing something completely different! I’ve never done any real photoscrapping before, even though I’ve been wanting to. But yesterday I sat down and did some digital layouts that I’m going to get printed into a book later. Sorry to tell you that I have no clue as to where I got all the embellishments and papers from… I downloaded a lot of these ages ago, thinking that I wanted to use them and then never did, until now. And now it was so long ago that I’ve forgotten all about it.

 The flowers are actually one of my own digi stamps – ”Layered flower 1″ – which can be found in the digishop.

So what do you think? I’m actually quite pleased with these, if I may say so… :)

Freebie Friday

But first, a card made for Stämpelkällan. Stämpelkällan is having a X-mas Challenge!!! Just a couple of days left now, but  there is still time to enter, so hop on over there and join us! It’s open for all, don’t be shy now. :)

I made this card for a friend that wanted a birthdaycard made. I used Trolla Kalasfin (S74) from Stämpelkällan and coloured her with Copics. The challenge is to use one of our sketches, and I chose one that Bili made almost a year ago.

I sort of twisted it a bit… Spred the flowers out around the motif a bit… But it’s basically the same…

And now… The last freebie of 2011… Let’s celebrate!

As usual she’ll be downloadable for the next two weeks, and then she’ll be in the shop eventually. Just click on the image to get a full scaled black and white png that you may rightclick and choose ”Save as…”, but please read my terms of use if you haven’t done so before.

Money box

I was commissioned by a friend to do this and I really pulled out all the stops for this one! And I’d like to say also that it is nothing less than my 100th project 2011!!! (No, you can’t check, because I haven’t blogged them all. I even have two projects that I totally forgot to photgraph as well. You just have to take my word for it, but would I lie to you???)

I used two digis on the sides of the box, a little kitty and the wee bunny… These will be released in my digi webshop some day in January. :) I used Copics (no surprise there…) to colour them. Grey areas - C-3, C-1; Pinks - RV10, RV21, RV23 and the bell and carrot: YR23, YR31 and Y21. The green on the carrot was made by using G94 and YG63, and then adding a lyer of YG23 on top of that.

I got some diecuts from a friend; Monica! They are not going to waste!!! ;) I like this border (which I believe to be a Magnolia die). Now, I’m not a fan of Magnolia, and definitly not the Tildas and Edwins. But I can agree that some of the other stuff is useful, like this borderdie… And I believe the swirl is part of a (huge) Cheery Lynn die? The window is made using a thin bit of clear plastic and embossing it with little hearts…

And a top view… Most of the roses I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts, a couple from Py Hobby and the gypsy flowers are from Mixen. And quite a while ago I borrowed a Nellie Snellen rose leaf punch from Madame Ink and punched a lot of leaves out. I figured I better start using them as well…! I’m having a hard time to figure out how to fasten charms though… This little key is just glued straight on, and it works because it’s on the lid and wouldn’t naturally swing. But how do you fasten them normally???

I was going for a little shabby chic look with this, and I think I got about halfway there. I might have to put some white acrylic dabbers on my wishlist… Isn’t it amazing really; it doesn’t matter how long one has been crafting, one can always find more things to buy that one just NEEDS. :)

Birthday girl!

Last week my little niece, Jazmine, had her very first birthday! I couldn’t be there for the celebrations as I had to work (story of my life right now…), but I made her this little card and of course Theo brought a nice gift for her as well.

The only thing I’ve been making for the last months were christmas cards, so I was very… rusty when it came to a birthday card (what, no santas or christmas wishes?!?). But I think I managed alright…

The little bunny will be a part of my next digi release that will make it’s appearance some day in january!

The last x-mas cards

Wow, it’s been a long time since I updated… Well, I’ve had a lot to do. Work. Then some more work, a bit of blogging over at Stämpelkällan, more work. And there was something else too… Yeah, work! ;)

Nah, it hasn’t been too bad really, but I felt I had to take some time… I have been making a few more christmas cards that I haven’t yet shown, but here they are.

First one: I used one of my own digis, Maja Design paper from last year and if I remember correctly the ribbon’s from Panduro… Mr. Santa is coloured with Copics. (I really, really want the new Ciao’s, the 36 new colours that they released in 2011. Ok, so I’ve already got like 143 colours, but just a few more wouldn’t hurt, would it??? :D )

Ok, so the second card is also one of my own digis, the gingerbread snaps. This isn’t available in the shop this year, but I will release it next year, either as rubber via Stämpelkällan or as digi in my own little shop.

For myself to send I made some very simple cards, and a bit smaller than usual. These were done in 15×10 cm (approx 6×4″). That way I also got three card bases from using just one cardstock.

And a quick shot of the inside as well…

Hmmm, I think I might need to go and get some gingerbread cookies for myself… Without frosting on them though… Next card please…

Ah yes… (pretending to give you a slideshow) This card depicts the ideal swedish winter forest… This was the digi freebie from a few weeks ago. I just gave it some shading using my Copics!!! Alright, I also coloured the… stems? Logs? Trunks?

I also used my Spica pen to give it some extra glitter. The Spica gives just the right amount for glittery snow… :)

Hard to snap photos of though… But it’s there, I promise you. And now on to the last card of this batch:

This one went to my brother and his fiancé. Again I’ve been using my own digistamp. The same goes for this as for the gingerbread one, it wasn’t released this year. A few people have gotten hold of it though… :)

I can see myself using this a lot for next years christmas cards…
