Jag...
...är San, bor tillsammans med min man Tobbe och vår katt, och vi har precis fått
våran första bebis. Vi bor i Nyköping, men jag kommer från
Varberg på västkusten och det är inte utan att jag saknar att vara
där ibland, speciellt på sommaren.
I am San, and I live together with my hubby Tobbe and our cat, and our first
baby was just born. We live in Sweden in a little town called Nyköping on the east
coast, but I'm from the west coast originally, and I sometimes miss it a lot, especially
in the summertime.

En kollega till mig fick barn i veckan, en liten Joline. Och då fick jag igen anledning
att använda min Bruno-björn från Whiff of Joy!
A collegue of mine gave birth this week to a little Joline. And that gave me
a reason to use my Bruno bear from Whiff of Joy!
Det här kortet funkar dessutom till två utmaningar! Cute Card Thursday
har "Nytt" som tema den här veckan, och ABC Challenge
har kommit fram till L som får stå för "lager". Och vad är mera nytt än en nyfödd
liten bebis? Och jag har räknat mig fram till minst fem lager med papper på kortet så
det borde vara väl kvalificerat...
This card is good for two challenges! Cute Card Thursday,
where the theme for the week is "All New", and also ABC Challenge,
where "L is for Layering". And what's more new than a newborn baby? And I counted
at least five layers of paper on the card, so it should be well qualified...
Visst är det lustigt det här med namn... Jag pratade med lilla mamma häromdan om namn på kommande
bebben och ungefär hälften av namnen jag nämnde började hon direkt att sjunga till,
så de går bort direkt... ;) Och varje gång jag hör Joline tänker jag på Dolly
Partons "Joline, Joline, Jolihine, Joliiine..." Lite roligt kanske att ha en "egen"
sång. När jag var liten spelade de "Wake up, little Susie, wake up" på radion, och
min mormor, som var tysk, kallade mig alltid för Susi eller Suschen. Så det var min låt...

Funny about names, isn't it? I was talking to my mum the other day about names
for our baby, and about half the names I mentioned, she could sing about, so
they were out of the question right away... ;) And everytime I hear Joline, I
start thinking about Dolly Parton's "Joline, Joline, Jolihine, Joliiine..."
When I was a baby they used to play "Wake up, little Susie, wake up" on the
radio, and my grandma, who was from Germany, used to call me Susi or Suschen,
so that was my song...
